That is bizarre, Rossy. I just looked at the server console and it shows you downloaded files I know you already have.
Open Windows search and search your computer for this:
fryguy2.mdl
I want to see where the server sent this file since I know you already had it (its the breakdancer fried guy).

Mmmmh...it was saved in two places...one in the correct place, last year, in C programs, one today at the time I downloaded stuff from WV, in another Quake backup folder that I have in a different HD (see attachment).

Yea, i suspected that. When you double click or run a demo it is associated with a different install of QW.
You can pick whichever is the proper install and go into options and set it to be the associated instance but don't bother, seems like a waste of energy for the occasional demo.
