This is a work in progress but when Nib and I are done it will be cool and change the gameplay for the better I hope.
Here's what the weapons look like now:

Some are in dire need of retexturing. Any volunteers? Pred?   Wink

The 4 on the right of the screenie are Trickle's vweps for vanilla qw. Awesome work all around. Not the case on these PK weapons I did but I don't have the patience and a compulsive need for perfection, I just wanna see what you are about to kill me with!!   Cheesy Cheesy

Like I said, not completely done yet but these pics give you an idea of what to expect.

Cool thing, Sh1tty. It will be great to see this in game.

I'm not very experienced with creating weapon skins I'm afraid, though.

I hear that for viewable weapons to work properly you'll kindly have to upgrade to ezquake 1.9. It also lets me distribute the 10mb of model and texture files as a pk3 which will eliminate a lot of headaches (for you and me).

So if you haven't yet, please update your EZQuake install to the latest stable version:  http://ezquake.sourceforge.net/

Meanwhile I will test and prod Nib into tinkering with the chain lightning animation code.   Cheesy

Have a tester finally:
http://sh.stonks.com/files/vwep.zip

Unzip the pk3 file in that zip to your \Painkeep folder. You're all set, unless it doesn't work in the ancient versions of EZQuake you guys use!   Glare
Join Weenieville with other players and marvel and the beautiful weapons they are killing you with!!

There are a few bugs that may pop up, like they just quit working until you die once in a while, so the server side of this is an ongoing tinker session for Nib and I.

Piras, here's how to install 1.9 without disturbing your current install:

1. Copy your entire Quake folder to another folder elsewhere on your drive
2. Install 1.9 to the new folder you copied.
3. If 1.9 mucks it up uninstall it and use the old folder you didn't upgrade.   Wink
