It might not be a bad idea to ask for member's to copy and paste the specific error into the message alerting you of it. Wink

I'd like to point out an error/typo in this post  Tongue

Very nice!!!

So how should typos be handled if they exist on the artwork? Huh?

Just making sure.

That is probably a good idea since some "typos" are purposeful. I will assume, however, that if there is a typo on the track listing, for example, it will not propagate into the gallery description. Yes? Wink

If I am the one to take the info from the artwork and fill in the description, it shouldn't propagate (if I find it  Wink )...but if I leave the descriptions that someone else filled in (as I am doing currently with the last uploads), I don't check them all, it would take far too much time especially when I'm editing hundreds of covers as now.
But this is quite a rare event anyway (users uploading descriptions)   Tongue Wink
That's one of the resons I'm asking users to check too and post here any typos or info errors they may find Wink

That's an interesting point.  Many bootlegs have typos such as http://www.helden.org.uk/yourgorgeous.htm and the infamous http://www.helden.org.uk/thedukeandthehawk.htm.  IMHO it would be wrong to correct these but there are many times when it would be useful, I will do my best for you!  Smiley

Of course you should  Smiley
Just remember though that in the incoming files there are still many duplicates because I still haven't checked them all and they were not deleted. So first check if the duplicate is in the incoming files  Wink

Although I believe it is part of the charm of a bootleg to have the butchered information, it makes it hard for people to find when search on the correct information. Wink

I think fixing is the best policy. However, going by the covers alone isn't going to help as quite a few shows are mislabeled. We may have to eventually do a gallery wide audit to try and find and correct these.... Let's add it to the list for now. lol

Yeah, I know you said this was for reporting errors in files that have been placed. Still, I'd like to warn you that I committed a typo when uploading the Miles 2 Nowhere tray. I called it "Mile 2 Nowhere".  Embarrassed
