Is there a problem using All2Lame under Vista? It always worked under XP on my old machine and lame works fine when EAC calls it, but trying to encode with All2Lame under Vista fails with the message "Runtime error '75': Path/File access error".

Thanks...   T.

Never used the program, but I am sure I had that problem with Flac frontend at one point.

Have you tried it under the xp compatibility mode, that might work?

No, that doesn't seem to make a difference. And trying to run lame from a command line, I've just discovered, results in "'lame' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file"; this despite being in the program's home folder at the time.

That would tell me that Vista can not find the program.

In the command prompt, are you running the program from the directory in which it is located?

That's what I thought.

Yes. Confusing, isn't it? The really weird bit is that it runs fine if EAC calls it. Smiley

Yesh, that is odd.

I must admit, I don't know much at all about Vista. Does All2Lame have a support forum? Huh?
