I noticed that "nevermind" thing but if anyone else needs it you can use Virtual Clone Drive (freeware).

That's ok,  lil bro (the "nevermind" was an "old folk" moment due to the fact I had the app and didn't realize it).   Embarrassed   I also have a copy of Virtual Clone Drive on my stick but haven't try'd it yet.

I'm still have'n a prob tho.  Sad  I reconfig'd Olivia's machine to be a Sims 2 play'n beast, but I'm have'n trouble mount'n the play disk.  Well, actually I can mount it but it does me no good.  The game wants the Mansion and Garden Stuff disk which works in the ROM and initiates game play, but gives me an error on a virtual drive as it can't read the emulated image.  Any thoughts?

Daemon Tools lite could help you. It can properly mount even protected discs.

I've heard that the latest version installs some spyware on your system though, I don't know if it's true, but keep that in mind. Of course you could probably remove that spyware later with some piece of software like SuperAntiSpyware or SpyBot.

Roger that, lil bro.  I'll let ya know if it works or not.
BTW, I made a copy of the M&G Stuff disk and try'd to play off of it.  Sims 2 recognized it as a "back up disk" and ask'd me to put in the original  disk.  Perhaps this has sumpt'n to do with why it won't read a mount'd virtual drive.  Undecided

Yeah, it's the protection system. See if Daemon Tools help you.
