Hi, I'm a newbie and I need help.

When I try burning the video_ts folder, there is always a failure with the DVD-files reallocation. What am I doing wrong? And is it safe to continue burning if the reallocation has failed?

*tears of frustration*

One way to avoid the error message would be to create an image file for burning using Imgburn.

Another way would be to run the files through IFOEdit to correct any problem files.

Perhaps the best way is to ignore Nero's little wobbler and burn the disc anyway. Nine times out of ten it will work just fine  Wink

Is it a particular torrent which you have issues with or is it a regular problem?

I ignored it, and it worked!  Grin
You're a lifesaver.

I'll look into your other suggestions too. This was actually my first attempt to burn a torrent.

If you are starting to burn torrents, I would really recommend getting used to ImgBurn instead of Nero (it's freeware).

I used Nero for a long time and although it works fine, it started giving me some problems with DL media dvds and also it sometimes gave me errors when trying to burn some torrents to disc with the files  reallocation (although as Screen54 said ignoring solved things most of the times, a couple of times the result was an invalid disc).

I've never used ImgBurn.  Undecided
Can it burn the torrent, as well as convert it to an image file?
I'll def. give it a try though.  Smiley

Yes, I use it to burn DVDs, in single and dual layer media.
You find all instructions here:

I would have to agree... ImgBurn is the best way to go if you plan to make a hobby out of downloading DVDs. It's not the "easiest" solution, but it is very, very good software and well worth the download. Smiley
