is your USB Flash drive water proof?   Mine yes http://www.amazon.com/Kingston-DTM-1GB-DataTraveler-Mini/dp/B000N7ZABY/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1210264947&sr=8-7The other day I dropped by accident some food on my pants. At home I left it with water and soap before put in the washing machine. Well, before doing that step, something fell to floor from inside the small pocket in the pants...OMFG...my dear 1 GB  It was for an hour into water with soap...damn it must be spoiled I thought. I left it drying and later applied some hot hairdrier treatment...and connceted to the PC... and ... and it functions till now. So, anyone willing to do the same test and find if his/her USB Flash drive is water proof? |

I have a Sandisk 4GB Cruzer Micro on my keyring.... it aint going anywhere near water! I've lost my old Buffalo 1GB stick so that could be in water as far as I know....

My son left his USB drive in his pants on Friday, so we decided to test it out... Probably 40 minutes in the wash cycle, and it came through with flying colours, so you can add Emtech 1Gb's to the "waterproof" set. |
