O HAI.

I'm trying to download something from this tracker, and the response is as below. Could it be that neiter "tomato" not "bits on wheels" are capable of dealing with personal torrents? Is there a compatible mac torrent client that you would recommend? Or should I really let it run for a night?

Aborting the torrent as it was rejected by the tracker while not connected to any peers.  Message from the tracker: Min announce interval of 15 minutes exceeded. Just wait and this will resolve itself. No action necessary., (at Sat Aug 2 '08 @ 01:53:53 AM)

I use Azureus (Vuze). It works great. I'm running OSX 10.5.4, though I've been using the same program since I had 10.4, never with any problems.

I have gotten a message about min announce interval exceeded. It always goes away within a half hour though, and the torrent never gets aborted. It shouldn't be a big deal, simply your client updated the tracker early.

tomato is fine.

Q) are there any peers?

Q) Are your ports open on your firewall (if you have a router they need to be open too)

if you are having problems try Transmission.

Personally, I avoid azureus. It's crap.

Port 6881 thru 6884 are forwarded to my computer.
The tracker website says there are peers and seeds.
One torrent is still waiting, the other has just started while I'm writing this.

Odd. Thanks though. I just have to be very patient. *bites mouse cord*  ~ Cheesy ~
