KISS
Westwood One "Superstar Concert Series"
June 27, 2000
New Jersey Meadowlands

lineage: "silver">EAC>flac

This is directly from the disc sent to radio by Westwood One.
It has not been edited into indivual song tracks. It contains the show host announcements and commercials exactly as they appeared on the original disc.

The songs contained in this show are...
Detroit Rock City
Deuce
Shout It Out Loud
Fire House
100,000 Years
Love Gun
Let Me Go Rock 'n' Roll
I Still Love You
Black Diamond
Beth
Rock And Roll All Night

Total length of this show according to the slate is 1:00:01
There is no artwork.

It should be noted that when copying with EAC I received an error notice during the rip of track 4. Upon listening back there is an audible "ticking" from approximately 09:19 to 09:41. There were also similar errors listed on track 5 but that is just a :30 promo. I have included the logfile.

notation added 07/22/06:
PS. all of this error... all :20 seconds of it... occurs *after* the final explosions on the last song.

Sweet!

Too bad about the errors.  Did you try cleaning the disc and ripping again? Huh?

Also, EAC does have a "glitch" removal process.  Perhaps you should have given that a try..?

Well, I think I will give this one a go anyway -- if I have enough HD space. Sad

Yes, I ran the glitch removal... no help. The disc is clean too. I put it in and listened to it this morning and it appears to be on the recording.  Cry I had not listend to the whole thing before or I would have caught it earlier.

My apologies,
HB

Sounds good!

I will jump on this tomorrow PM. I have one more thing to finish on my machine (for work) and then I can purge some stuff and open up space.

I can't tell you how much I am looking forward to this! My heart still breaks a little every time I hear "I Still Love You" and I think back to my break up with my high school sweetheart. Cry

Sorry, found a Zep torrent I didn't need but couldn't resist... then a Lou Reed show came up an hour later so I put KISS on pause. It's back now but only at half my optimal bandwidth. By the time I get home from work this pm the Zep show will be done and I'll be back up full blast.

Thanks Rossy,

I was about to link them here right after I UL them... then I remembered that the mods would be moving incoming files to a more permanent location.

And thanks for the kudo Bewley... I try to keep them simple.

Yes, that's how it works, I created a Kiss album in the CD artwork category, and moved the files there.
The URL I posted is the one pointing to the new album created.
Anytime I see new files in the incoming files albums, I move them in their right location, so actually it's better to wait for that before posting the gallery link  Smiley

@ HB,

Had a listen to this last night. Although there is some noise on the commercials and promos, I didn't notice any on the actual tracks. Could have been that I was concentrating on what I was doing and not paying enough attention to the music -- it rarely happens.

Excellent show!  When it comes to the sound, I have no complaints at all. Top notch stuff.  I am a little disappointed that "I Still Love You" is only a quarter of the song -- damn you Paul Stanley! I also noticed that "Deuce" sounds cut -- I am sure this is how it is on the disc, and it must have been a production thing to get the show to fit in the allotted time frame.

Anyway, excellent upload, my friend! Grin

@ Rossy,

I could be mistaken, but the URL should not change when an image is moved from one album to another (the one with the pos=-xxxx). Perhaps this is something you can confirm the next time new artwork comes in.

Thank you.

I will sit on this one for a while before getting to the others. That way anyone who joins in the near future wont have to beg for a seed. It's not a race after all.

Could be, actually I never checked.
Next time I'll check this, it would be a good thing, in that way anyone could post the links of their artwork to the gallery, even if in the incoming files albums.
