*Some clues given during the shows introduction... "April 1971" ...and "Paris Studio's  London" gives good indication that this these tracks came from a show recorded April 1,  1971 by the BBC. Sound quality is excellent.

I figured I better put this up now before my rehearsal schedule kicks in or I wouldn't get to it until after the show in October.

by request the Led Zeppelin Westwood One "Superstar Concert Series" show.

I listened again to this one before creating the torrent and noticed the shows host, Jeff Gonzer, said this was recorded in April of 1971 at Paris Studios in London. I immediately recalled a boot I have from the same location that was recorded on April 1, 1971 for the BBC. I have not compared the two yet but I am assuming it is the same show.

Enjoy,
HB

PS. I may yet sit down and make some artwork. If so, I will post it to the gallery.

edit: oops... looks like I got a case of happy fingers when typing the torrent name.... should be 1971-04-01

Your very welcome,  Smiley

Yes, up to '71 and most of '72 are my favorite zep shows. Roberts voice was still in fine form and he was singing in the same register as in the studio albums.

enjoy,
HB

Nice one Homebrew!

Thanks.

To most people, David Bowie is little more than a commodity of pop music since the release of whichever Guitar Hero game features the track “Ziggy Stardust,” which wasn’t even a single.

Are the commercials on this disc 2006-era or are they from the dim days of 1971?

From the time of broadcast. I intended to leave the individual commercials out of the torrent but it was all packaged by the time I remembered.

I agree with S...

I think that commercials should be left in, no matter what the period. I just would loved to hear the Resurrection On 84th St commercials that played during the Nassau show! Seems like there is real history there...
