Oh no, sorry, Reeves was gone by this time Sad.  If I had found my Slow Burn single maybe I could have found the musicians credits on it, but then again, credits are often not printed.  Still you may want to have a look here for much more information about this period and some teasing clips.

Repetitive lossy encoding causes degradation. However, it becomes very hard to quantify the point where degradation equals loss of perceptual quality.

It may just be perception, but to my ears it appears to be a flattening of the sound when the music have been lossy and have had corners cut.
Especially when I know the music have been "doctored". That's why my heart always make a jump when I hear about a "new master".  Wink

I agree with you, Boiling. But in all fairness, many people do not hear this. Or haven't had the pleasure of hearing a lossless version to compare.

My heart jumps too when a new master appears. It is amazing how clear some of these old thirty year old recordings are when one can go straight to the source. Smiley
