The statistics on the main torrent page have been "flattened" and look somewhat like they did on SJ. I always hated the vertical stats and all the wasted space on the page as a result.

The Orphaned Torrent list has been moved to the main page. Truth is, I've been struggling with this move ever since the site went online. On the one hand, I want people to have to opportunity to download everything the site has to offer and I feel the "orphaned list" was far from effective. However, on the other hand, torrents are not meant to last for months and months (and months) and should eventually die out to be reseeded at a later date when enough new members are available to support it once again.

I like both the changes.

I really disliked the vertical way stats were done on Dime, and love the flattened version of SJ, which I had forgotten about. Tongue

In addition, there are really not that many torrents needing a seed, but having them on the front page brings them to peoples' attention easily, rather than trying to find a page which I had trouble finding here. lol
