Why is this so slow?
We need more seeders?

That's odd. I just checked my uTorrent and I do not see you in my peers list. The swarm is moving at 1.14 MB/s, with one seeder giving 300+ K/sec and another giving 200+ K/sec. So it is a very quick moving swarm. The site is reporting 12 seeders and 33 leechers. How many peers is beeing reported by your BT client? And are you connecting to any of them?

33 peers connected to 2 , uploading only 12 seeds connected to one Azureus. edit: enabled DHT and it seems to be better now , connected to 6 (12) seeds and downloading. Although it stops and starts all the time .. I'll persevere. edit2: Upgraded my JRE version , its real good now.

Cool. I am glad to see that it is working for you now. Just out of curiosity, was this the only site/torrent giving you problems downloading?

Cool. I am glad to see that it is working for you now. Just out of curiosity, was this the only site/torrent giving you problems downloading? Hard to say , I had been seeding mainly for the last week or so for my main torrent portal, then i came across this site. And began downloading this torrent. The new JRE v6 i downloaded doesn't look very old at all and is only available via a link from the Azureus Wiki. I also re-enabled DHT for this torrent, since i don't visit a private tracker, that forced disabling of it anymore. I Also checked last evening and i might have to repatch my tcp/ip max connections there were 10, 4226 errors in my event viewer. Not a lot, but i have to get around to checking it. Its still really not 'hooting' along nice and fast, still stops and starts a fair bit , but I am getting better download speeds now at least. 4(14) seeds 3(40) peers (at the moment). ADSL - 8032/384.

Ahhh, yes, try repatching your tcp/ip. It sounds like this could be the culprit and that the stopping and starting of the torrent is related to your system posting a new event. If you do get around to the patch, let us know if it seems to help.

Checked my patch this morning it was still at 75 connections where i set it to last time. I bumped it up to 100.
No change. Although Meltdown has now finished i m grabbinbg the 50th Birthday concert from MWP now and its not well seeded and its slow. 2(3) seeds - 0(3) peers
I downloaded another torrent this morning , well seeded from my favourite tracker and i got 190mb in about 15mins. Roughly @ 400 k/Bs
So its not me anymore.
Thanks for your help

Yes, but was that torrent you downloaded at that rate uploaded half a year ago? The B-day Bash DVD was added to the tracker in September of 2006 and most of the people who downloaded it have long purged it from their machines to make room for new goodies. I fear it will be a horribly long download at over 7 GB's. In contrast, the Heathen EPK, which was uploaded today, is flying along at over 1 Mb/sec. If you have any designs on grabbing this one, jump on now while the getting is good!

I´m still have net problms, but just before come to work today, finally completed Meldtdown. I watched some scenes and looks great. Anxious to burn it and enjoy the DAT sound. The quality is great, and I started to change my mind about not dl audience shot. If anyone more experienced here could give andvice abot wich others DVD audience shot deserve the effort, I`ll appriciate.

Some futher info please from anyone who has burned this to DVD? What is the picture quality like and the filming? I know it's audience shot, but due to the size of this download I'm not that interested if it's REALLY poor to watch. Reading between the lines from other comments made here, I am taking it to be quite good? but I would like confirmation if at all possible Also this DAT sound track? is it in stereo and is it really good quality ? I am assuming it has been added from another source right?

I think the quality of the video compares to most audience shots of this tour. It is steady and mostly unobstructed. It is a generation old, so it is not as sharp as the direct DAT > DVD recordings of this show. However, since the footage was spread over 2xDVD's, you are not going to get the problems one typically finds with long shows that were recorded to standalone -- blocks during the fast scenes, excessive mosquito noise, etc. Plus, as far as I know, this is the only version that has been synced with an alternate audio source.
The audio is an audience recording and not in stereo (if I recall correctly). I went through three or four audio sources before I selected this one, so I can feel comfortable that, at least to my ears, it was the best audio available of the show when I made this DVD.

Thanks bewley it sounds like a fairly decent DVD ;)I was asking because I didn't want to download and burn what is after all quite a big DVD set, only to find that due to picture and sound quality being maybe terrible that it would be virtually unwatchable like some others I have downloaded in the past I have a bootleg CD of Meltdown which has a brilliant version of Sunday on it, so I am quite looking forward to seeing this

As audience films go, this is one of the best in my opinion. Very well filmed and beautifully presented. You won't be disappointed
