@ PACCHIONE : I see you've quickly corrected (without letting us know) your cover after I told you it had the wrong title...
Moreover what's the point in creating an artwork when someone (me) already offered to do it in the first place ? This attitude really sucks No Are you starting a contest here ? Fine ! If not, please read the threads and offer your help after making sure no one already did. I absolutely don't have a pb with other people making artworks, many members  do a great job here, but they all respect the work of others.

Well, I often use alternative artwork for the "inside of the case, so thanks to both blackbeard and Pacchione. Grin

wow ! more than 10 sites ! very impressive, must be a full time job then ! but do you only focus on alternate artwork or have you ever considered creating covers for all the torrents that don't have any artwork yet, as you were already suggested to ?
As far as I'm concerned I wouldn't have started working on it if you clearly mentionned you were already going to do it. Remember ? The "respect" part of my previous post. And that's what makes us different I guess.

More artwork more freedom to choice bye bye

...and more confusion. A different artwork is generally created when the source of the torrent is different as well, that's all. And please spare me with this "freedom" and "choice" statement. Wanna give choice ? Why not create, say, 20 cover variations for future torrents, then ? THAT would be a choice !

@ rossy and ZigDust : I'm sorry I didn't know an artwork already existed for this one. I could have spent my time in a much more productive way yesterday and thus avoid all this fuss !  Smiley

I honestly don't think there is anything wrong with members creating alternate artwork for torrents.
It is like this in any other site, starting from Dime, where you find up to 4-5 different artworks for some torrents that call in a lot of people.
And it's also true that it's nice to be able to choose.

Really, can't see where the problem is, Blackbeard. This is a place where anyone can give their input, especially when it comes to contributing, and people can't be afraid to upload their artwork just because someone else has done it before  Smiley

As to Zig Dust's artwork...he had made one for himself, I insisted on uploading it because I liked it, being for two DVD's, even though I really liked yours very much indeed.

Great to see this DVD available, Ziggy is the most iconic part of db's career ever imho and anything rare or whatever to do with this period is just fantastic Grin whilst part 1 is going to be available in 2 parts the 2nd part to follow shortly, can I enquire if part 2 is going to be available as 2 DVD's? I'm asking because I seem to remember someone saying somewhere that part 2 wasn't available? to be honest I'm not sure. Eitherway a big thanks for making this DVD available as 2 DVDs for part 1, because I personally don't have the tech savy yet to be able to do one of those double layer jobbies  Embarrassed Embarrassed

On the subject of the covers, I'm grateful to anyone who has the skill and generosity to do them for DVD's / CD's available here on MWP Wink although I do take blackbeards point that too many covers can be confusing, at least to me lol ( I'm easily confused ) that's not a dig at anyone btw, because like I said I'm grateful to everyone who does them, which brings me to a point of clarification here, I am taking it that blackbeards cover is the one we need to print for this particular torrent? Honestly, I prefer your cover, blackbeard, but that doesn't mean that people shouldn't make covers if they want to.
In this particularly case I had already done this and someone like it and that's ok, I think.
If there's something I learned about homemade CDr/DVDr's it is that covers comes in all shapes and sizes.
There's not a right or wrong one (yes, freedom of choice, if you want to call it that).

Cheers

And I like to be able to identify a CD/DVD by its cover and I don't think having 5 different artworks for one torrent could be interesting. And is Dime an absolute reference ?

Really, can't see where the problem is, Blackbeard. This is a place where anyone can give their input, especially when it comes to contributing, and people can't be afraid to upload their artwork just because someone else has done it before  Smiley
...

It's not important to know which artwork people prefer over the other ones.
You don't see the pb ? Well, I do. What's the point in spending hours on my busy time to create artworks knowing there will be a few versions available anyway ? None (for me) ! But there's always good things coming out the bad and I will now focus on more productive things instead of spending my time on these covers. So, apart from vol2 of this  torrent which is already done, and Bewls' series I already promised to do, there won't be any other artwork from me. I've simply lost the will to do so  Undecided
